The Research Of Implementing The Wireless Network Card Driver And Network Tunnel Driver On Windows 2000

Windows 2000 WDM and NDIS driver's architecture and development technology are analyzed in this paper. Different kinds of technologies and skills, which are handled in developing the WDM/NDIS driver under Windows 2000 , are explained from an example of implementing the driver of an Wireless Ethernet card with USB interface. Finally, this article introduces the basic theory of how to program NDIS network driver , especially the tunnel driver under Windows 2000 platforms, and some important technologies are introduced in detail.
