Study On Adaptive Antenna For Frequency-Hopping System

Frequency-Hopping technique is a spread-spectrum technique, whoseinterference-resist ability is well. But when the interference and desired signal'sfrequency are overlapped, we must use adaptive antenna to separate them in spatialdomain. Digital signal processing technologies were used to produce spatial anddirectional beam in adaptive antenna. Then the main beam aims at the coming directionof desired signal and the side lobe points to the coming direction of interference signals.The combination of adaptive antenna with Frequency-Hopping technique can improvethe interference-resist ability. This thesis studies the key technologies of using adaptive beamformer to suppressthe fast follower and the wide-band interference, mainly including two aspects. In thefirst part, a new method of frequency compensate is presented in this thesis when thereis only fast flower jammer. We study on using the focusing matrix of coherent subspacemethod (CSM) to update the date matrix before the fast follower jammer coming , andthen improved the adaptive beamformer's convergence . In the second one, when thereare fast follower jammer and wide-band interference, we suppress them separately. It isof great value in engineering application and is a good guide to theory study in thefuture.
