Research And DSP Implementation Of Demodulation Algorithm For Software Radio

This paper presents the design and implementation of the algorithm related to signal demodulation in software radio. The main researches focus on the algorithm of the analog signal demodulation of AM FM, as well as the digital signal demodulation of DBPSK DQPSK and π/4-DQPSK. The algorithm of bit timing ,frame synchronizing, frequency-offset estimating and correcting is implemented together with the application framework. Firstly, this paper introduces the background of the software radio and analyzes the implementation of the algorithm mentioned above in theory. Secondly, the software and hardware platform is briefly introduced with a focus on the use of C Language embedded in assemble language in the series of TMS320VC5X DSP. Thirdly, the implementation of those algorithms was given in detail. At last, the result of the algorithms is given and the relative diagrams are drafted.
