Research And Implementation On Component-based Groupware Collaborative Application

What we say groupware collaborative application, is a share environment computer interface supporting groupware collaboration. A lot of work has been done using JSDT to develop groupware collaborative application. However, with the increasing diversification of groupware tool and media carrier, groupware collaborative application toolkits, represented by JSDT, have gradually exposed their weak points. Therefore, the study of component-based groupware collaboration has attracted more and more attention.On the basis of a detailed analysis of JSDT, this paper presented a new component-based groupware collaborative model developed from an improvement of existing groupware collaborative model. And this new model was described in component-oriented language. To demonstrating the component-based prevalence of this model, the model and related framework were also materialized on the platform of Microsoft .NET. In addition, an application example was given in the end.Sparks of this paper goes as followed:1) Presented a reasonable component-based groupware collaborative model, including meeting management component, meeting activator component, meeting tool component and meeting coordinator component. The demand of these components was described with CCM of component-oriented language CORBA.2) In stead of using Java as platform, this model and its framework was worked out on promising Microsoft .NET.3) Taking the advantage of component-based groupware collaborative model and .NET platform, user-oriented run-time components were successfully realized.4) For the key problem of groupware collaboration, i.e. consistency management, aspect-oriented method was proposed to be a solution.
