| As an organic component of forest resource and environment sustainable development,forest site analysis and afforestation programming design is foundation of forestrymanufacture, which is closely linked with spatial data. It is substantially an analysis andprocess procedure about spatial data. Zhifanggou watershed of Ansai County in Shaanxi province as study area, based onforestry and ecology theory, by means of Remote Sensing (RS), and supported byGeographical Information System (GIS), this paper realizes forest site analysis andafforestation devise. First, build background database on ecology environment of Zhifanggou,which is supplied as base information database for digitalize and auto-management. Second,establish forest site factor information database of Zhifanggou that mainly includes altitude,landform position, slope, grade, aspect, etc. It is convenient for us to abstract site factor ofeach land and provides scientific foundation for study analysis and production practice. Third,on the basis of site type dividing and evaluation and collecting relevant field knowledge andexpertise, elementarily establish expert information and experience database. Fourth, aimed atspecific site factor of Zhifanggou watershed, study out forest site classification of Zhifanggoubased on RS. Fifth, Adopting module thought of designing program and utilizing structuraldesign principle top-down to develop, applying object-oriented compiling language VisualBasic 6.0 and MapX 4.01.51 component product of ActiveX from MapInfo corporationdevelop Forest Site Information Management System (FSIMS). The system has friendlyinterfaces, strong practicability, simple operation, convenience, etc. That applying RS and GIS to afforestation site analysis and afforestation design inZhifanggou watershed of Ansai County, can decrease outdoor workload, realize compositiveanalysis, query, statistical analysis on site and site factor, and evaluate site type by means ofrelevant mathematic method. We can utilize expert information database in afforestationprogramming devise, which makes all scattered work compositivize and systemize. Closely combining with forestry manufacture, this paper realizes scientific managementand decision-making by means of RS & GIS, and actively explores method on forest siteclassification and site type evaluation. Aimed at current situation that there's roughmanagement, low manage-level and slow information technique in forestry, this study hascertain technique base and supply value to actuate forestry management informational. |
