In the beginning of this century, AOL and Time Warner came together and became the new corporation-AOL -Time Warner.It didn't quite turn out that way. The main reasons could be summarized as follows: the great disparity between the civilizations of two corporations; irrational arrangement of top management, which resulted in structure of unbalance of the management level after the completion of merger; and lack of vigorous support from stuffs.At last, AOL-Time Warner announced that it would drop "AOL" from its name to create some distance from the recent spate of negative publicity generated by the parent company in August-2003.Finally, the article draw a conclusion that the network corporation can't be the leader in mass media group.
