Artificial Life Science has become a focus of Information Science, Life Science and System Science in the world now, which now is a rapidly developed science. To research intelligent artificial life and intelligent agents, it is very essential to solve the problem of action selection of artificial life. Only if the agent of artificial life can choose an appropriate action by itself in the environment, then it can be called as intelligent artificial life. Therefore, the research of action selection of artificial life is significant. The schema theory has great successes in being used in controlling of robots andswing_up and position control of Pendulum system.Enlightened by Sensory-MotorIntelligent Schemas(SMIS),conbining with the model of action selection based onpriority degree,this paper tries to construct a mechanism of action selection of artificiallife based on the SMIS, and to investigate the shape of the intelligent ,the constructionand form of cognition and of artificial life, and describe then with schema theory. Onthe basis of investigation on the action selection of artificial life and intelligentagent,this paper extend the model of action selection based on priority degree,andconstruct the simulation system. The main works and conclusions of this paper are shown as follows: (1)We constructed a construction model of action selection of artificial life basedon schema theory.And We used this model in the mechanism of action selection ofartificial life based on priority degree,then the mechanism of action selection ofartificial life was discussed from a higher academic point of view.The researchsuggested that the ability of memeroy and learning of artificial life have an importanteffect on the action seletion. (2)We extended the model of action selection bassed on priority degree andconstructed the avoiding colliding model and dodging model.The emphases of theresearch on action selection is to study how the artificial life select the right action ,butnot to construct the behavior materially.Although this is true ,if the behaviors in themodel are too simple to incarnate the complexity of the life,the model can't give peoplea lifelike impression.It is luckly that which model we have II重庆大学硕士学位论文 英文摘要 constructed can not only simulate the old simple behavior,but also achieve a goodeffect in simulating the extended model.This suggests that this model can be extended tothe more complex system easily.
