With the rapid development of the enterprise's automation . It is becoming more and more important that how to configure source in reason and arrange work based on the market and enterprise status. But, the interlinkage of Management Information System and Control system can not be realized in the traditional control systems.Being the extension of computer network in the field of control and advanced development of computer control system, the networked control system (NCS)has a broad engineering application. Web-related technology is quickly developed. Its application changes the conventional framework of automation system. Many scholars and engineering technician at home and abroad pay high attention and engaged in the research focused on the design and realization of the networked control system based on Web technology.According to the enterprise's requirement, we proposed a new framework of control system based on Web technology and Ethernet, which adopted the COM and ActiveX technology, and furthermore ,we analyze and design the system framework in detail.This thesis is organized as follows:1 The application of integrating Ethernet and Web technologies into control systems is briefly described. The characteristics of DCS, FCS, Ethernet-based control system are compared in detail. It is pointed out that the application of Ethernet and Web to industrial control is an important trend. All the problems which the thesis will solve are listed in order to help reader to understand .2 The key technologies of Ethernet applied to automatic control is the focus discussed by engineers and researchers ,such as "uncertainty", real-time, high-usable, security and so on .3 It is obvious that the system we designed is of significance of the research of computer integrating plant automation(CIPA). Our methods of integrating control networks with information networks are put forward. The system we designed is described in detail.4 In this chapter we give details of the system software design. The design of real time database, the design of history database, the design of HMI making software, the design of the ActiveX controller for trend line display, are given in detail5 Finally several problems, which are also important to the application of Ethernet and Web to industrial automation, are given in order to remind the readers who are interested in the technologies of Ethernet and Internet applied to industrialautomation .The realization of the whole system frame sets up a good basic for this project's in-depth research and development.
