Research And Implementation Of A Distributed Archivism Mechanism In PACS

The paper describes the development of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and visions trend of the development in China, according to the intrinsic rule of medical information. More, the paper designs and implements a distributed archivism mechanism with dynamic component model of Java technology. It supplies a practicable scheme for extending PACS, decreasing storage cost and pursuing distributed PACS.The archivism mechanism, the paper designed, starts from the distributed storage layer in distributed PACS. It organizes images which distributed on net or heterogeneous system through the dynamic storage plug-ins. And it supplies middleware interface which enables user archive image resources conveniently with an identical mode. Also, it decreases the current high payouts with distributed storage. What's more, it can apply the improving technologies through the extent interface based on the model.At last, the paper exemplifies the practicability and validation of the distributed archivism mechanism with two examples: the Aided Inference System of DICOM Image based on WEB and Search Platform for DICOM Image.
