With the field development entering post-stage of high water cut, the process flow has been becoming more and more sophisticated, therefore applying artificial monitoring or conventional devices' monitoring is very difficult to meet the production demand. Therefore in order to ensure the stable and optional controlled production process, carrying out safe production and energy saving, increasing production managing level, how to reasonably choose and design safe, reliable and easily maintained computer monitoring and controlling system used in multipurpose station becomes a very significant problem to be solved in present field producing.According to the existing condition of the computer monitoring system developing and combining with the real yielding way, this paper introduces the project choosing of computer monitoring system, the type choice of testing instrument, the choice and design of computer hardware and software, the anti-interference measures of hardware and software, the function of the computer monitoring system and its realization, and so on.The distributed microcomputer monitoring and controlling system used in multipurpose station, which is introduced in this paper, takes high performance industrial PC as upper host computer, with high reliability PLC and intelligent I/O module constituting the control station of in-site collection. By this way it turns to be a small, double level, distributed microcomputer monitoring and controlling system which can carry out the goal of "decentralizing risk while centralizing control". It not only can bring the advantages into play of its flexible configure, perfect function, high reliability and easy maintenance to make up a independent microcomputer monitoring and controlling system, but also it can realize the information exchange with other posts by making use of the outstanding expandability and the function of network communication, and accordingly lay the foundation of establishing larger distributed microcomputer monitoring and controlling system in the whole multipurpose station. This system has showed its accurate data acquisition, steady system control, and safe and reliable working since it was put into running last October. It provides direct, convenient man-machine interface which has many contents for operating and administrating personnel so that they increase their working efficiency and administrating level. The steady working of the system can guarantee the smooth production process and realize safe production, as well as accumulate more experience for applying distributed microcomputer monitoring and controlling system in other posts or other multipurpose stations.
