Nowadays the construction work is enormous in road building in our country,and the sorts and quantities of construction machinery required are too much in the scene of the construction.The concerted work of the construction machines influences the schedule and the quality of the project to a good many extent.But the construction work and the management technique in road building lags behind relatively in our country ,and the operational status of the machines is in a random condition. Especially,the asphaltum mixed material is prone to engender the phenomena which influences the quality of the road surface in the construction work of asphaltum concrete road,such as the temperature isolation and the inconsecutive arrangement.So it crys for realizing the optimum configur-ation and the rational distributing of the machinery,which is promoting the working quality and economizing the working cost accordingly.I investigate and master the advanced technology in the world: global positioning system and global system for mobile communication,and apply the well-rounded computer data processing technology and network communication technology (the wireless local area network especially) to develop and design the intellectualized machines control system based on the current GSM commun-ication system(the telecom network or the unicom network). The system can get the position and operational status of the construction machines at any moment,and ascertain the means of task distinction arising from the project delay the and sudden things etc.Therefore it implements the dynamic organization and the intellectualized management long-distance.The article discusses the communication and position of the system,and emphasizes the structure and principle of the subsystem and describes the GPS system,GSM and WLAN technology in detail.It is a novel problem that these technologies is applied to the wireless monitoring and data collection of the engineering machines. It sums up the total project design of the system according to the function requirement analysis,and it completes the economic choice of the hardware style.It expounds the software design and realization based on these different data formats and communication protocols by the thought of module design,and points out the detail item in development process.
