Research On Multi-Agent System Application In Purchasing Management Intelligent Decision Support System

Purchasing Management Intelligence Decision Support System (PMIDSS) is the important tool for modern enterprise's business decision and it can improve enterprise's key competitiveness. It also can offer various kinds of information of purchasing management decision and solution of the commercial problems for the enterprise, lighten the burden of the administrator who engaged in basic information processing and analyzing, make him devote himself to the work which need decision intelligence and experience the most, so it has improved the quality and efficiency of decision making. Agent is the new developing technology in Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI), Multi-Agent System (MAS) is an Agent network of loose coupling, these Agents can solve the problems that exceeding the ability of individual Agent's through the cooperation by each other. MAS and network can offer the new way for setting up IDSS, and Agent technology can make the idea that set up an DSS integrated networking, intellectuality, man-machine coordination become reality. Thesis survey relevant theory of IDSS and MAS, and this paper also make helpful try and deep discussion on applying MAS to PMIDSS research.(l)First of all, it has explains the concept of DSS, and has introduced the classification and system structure of IDSS. It has researched the corresponding solution through analyzing the problem existing in IDSS technology. At the same time, the technological characteristic and the key technology of PMIDSS, such as modelbase, database, etc. have been discussed in details.(2)Secondly, it introduces Agent and the basic theories of MAS, and makes foreshadowing of some technology for this paper use MAS setting up PMIDSS. It has put forward MAS multi-layer system structure of PMIDSS, and provides the definition of main Agents in MAS at the same time, the key problem in MAS: the Coordinate and communication mechanism has been discussed emphatically.(3) Again, it has explained the characteristic and classification of knowledge in PMIDSS, and stressed researched on the application of Rough set based knowledge expression and acquisition method in the subsystem of supplier appraising IDSS. The Rough set based knowledge acquisition method has been discussed deeply, and it provided the instance of this method applied in supplier appraising process especially.(4)Finally, it has researched the overall scheme designed in PMIDSS system, including network and system structure of this system, and has confirmed the inside structure of Agent, designed and realized the function, structure and algorithm of task Agent, it has figured out the key technology of the system database implementation and the connection with the database.The thesis summarized the work of this paper finally, and looked forward to the improvement of the research direction and technology for the future.
