| With the popularity of the technology of computer and network, as an applicationtechnology, workflow has been widely used in systems of interaction and the automation ofbusiness process, especially in the field of enterprise business process reengineer, buildingE-government, the development of E-commerce. It have been taken into account and greatdeveloped ever before. The field of using workflow management system have been more andmore spread out, especially the workflow engine of imbed into other application system.Workflow is a technology of researching business process automation. Its primarymission is to improve productivity and reduce mistake by handling business processes thatwas broken into several step to accomplish and efficiently dispatching work. Since 1993,afterWfMC founded, the Workflow technology make great improvement. Although there aremany workflow standards and workflow system architecture, the WfMC's workflowstandards and workflow reference model are actually industrial standards. The work of thispaper is based WfMC's workflow standards.First, in this paper, we make a deeply analysis of current situation of the development ofworkflow and various workflow standards. We decide to develop a useful workflowmanagement system that was based outstanding open source workflow project—the Sharkproject. Secondly, according to the analysis of WfMC's workflow standards and Shark projectin detail, we point out the Shark's fault and that must be paid attention to in using toimplement workflow management system. We propose some solution to existing deficiency ofshark. On this basis, we have realized a Web-style WFMS that was based on Shark project. |
