With the rapid increasing demand of people using ADSL Wide band, ADSLbusiness of large telecom operators has entered fast developing stage. Confronted withthe large potential market and the chance, telecom operators are also involved in veryfierce competition. With the increasing of consumer groups, it is a matter of greaturgency for operators to know how to provide consumers for high quality service oflowest costs, how to diagnose malfunction, give the orientation and solve problems in ashortcut, and how to solve the complaint of consumers in very short time. It will bringDSL larges scale development great advantage to implement ADSL Wide band TestingSystem, to make trouble orientation and processing method perfect.The Research of this paper is the design and implement of TL1 communicationprotocol in ADSL Wide band testing system. In the research, the TL1 communicationprotocol is used to provide interface in device. According to the work flow of ADSLWide band testing system and the analysis of TL1 communication protocol, The idea israised that TL1 communication protocol module can be divided into multi tasks toprocess TL1 Message. The multi-task design method is applied which is based on theembedded real time operation system VxWorks, to study the multi-task processingrequest of Client's connection, read TL1 Message from Client, Parse and process TL1Message, Send TL1 Message, thread schedule, Process autonomous Message and theircommunication.
