The Application Research Of Periodical Publication System Based On J2EE Multi-tier Framework

According to the analyses of multi-tier framework based on J2EE and combing with the development of newspapers and periodicals publication system of Hubei Province, the author systemicly expatiates the principal method and d evelopment fl ow o f b uilding enterprise information system based on J2EE multi-tier framework.At the first part of the paper, the author introduces the background of the research project and its current environment, point out that the architecture based on C/S modal is not satisfying the development of the application system. Following that, the author represents the popular application system architecture, that is .NET architecture based on Windows platform and the J2EE/EJB architecture based on multiple platform. By comparing each architecture, the author leads to the main point of the paper, the architecture based on Echo+Spring+Hibernate framework in J2EE multi-tiers architecture.In the middle part of the paper, the author analyses each technique for the corresponding tiers with emphasis. In the view tier, the author select Echo (an open source project) as its framework. The framework is characterized as an object-oriented and event-driven framework, make the development of web application just like Java Swing application, make up the shortcomings of the traditional web page-based application, release the developer from directly developing browser and server side application. In the logical tier, the author select Spring as its framework, as a comprehensive and modular framework with tiered architecture, make developer user either part of the framework. Spring framework effectively organized the middle-ware object, get rid of the problem of the tight connection of component construction and employment and the need of using various property files. In the whole application projects, Spring framework provides an uniform method configurations. In thispaper, the author use this framework as the logic tier framework. In the data persistence tier, the author uses Hibernate framework based on O/R Mapping, this framework provides light persistence framework in J2EE platform, the one one mapping relation and the object-oriented query language and the recovery mechanism. For the Hibernate framework, developers can greatly reduce the work of operate database and make developers freely use the object-oriented method to operate database.Newspapers and periodicals are main carrier of the propagandism in society and nation, and they have near relation with people's culture life. Traditional newspapers and periodicals publication are based on handiwork, but it has defect of much work and fussy transaction. For those which based on information system, they are based on C/S architecture, in this structure, the client side has much data processing logic, which leads to system is hard to install and maintenance. After the detailed analyze of the core technique of multi-tiered framework, the author applies the technique to the development of newspapers and periodicals publication system.Through the description of the requirement of the system, the author sets up the database model and divide the system to the corresponding tiers. In addition, the author implement the dealer modular in the system, shows the convenience of system of development and maintenance and make out a new method to build enterprise system.
