| With the development of CAD/CAM technology, manufacturing industry had adopted CAD/CAM software widely. The application of CAD/CAM technology to manufacturing industry can increase efficiency, Optimize blue print, lessen designer's oppressiveness and shorten project's period. These years, in order to gain more economical benefit, some corporations are going to adopt three-dimensional CAD software after application of two-dimensional CAD technology. It's proved that to make CAD software works more effectively, secondary development of them is necessary.To achieve the goal of approving quality and efficiency of motor design, work manners about the CAD software sustaining motor structural design are discussed, the corresponding theory and method of CAD are also studied, blue print and implementation method of developing motor three-dimensional CAD system based upon SolidWorks are put forward in this paper, and all these are based upon being familiar with the modules and functions of SolidWorks2004. The guiding thought about developing Motor Three-dimensional CAD System is that all the development is based on the actual work manners and work contents.The motor three-dimensional CAD system includes four functional modules: parametrical feature library, parametrical feature-design tools, part library and aided GB-drawing-design tool. Parametrical feature library is developed with characterization and parameterization technology, and it can provide user with well defined feature to complete the design of part. And if need be, the library can be extended by user in future. Parametrical feature-design tools are developed for the complicated feature which can't be designed with parametrical method, and these tools can realize parametrical design of the complicated feature indirectly. Part library is classified as standard part library and user defined part library, and the two part library are developed respectively for standard parts and complicated parts. GB-drawing-design tool is to resolve the problem that the rules of drawing made by SolidWorks are out accord with our national standard, and it can switch the rules of drawing between our national standard and international standard. |
