With the development of the network and communication technology, The embedded system has entered a new history developing stage again after going through the development courses of more than 20 years. The application technology on the basis of the ARM series processor is getting up more and more important influence in the embedded systematic field. Numerous embedded systematic producers are exactly on the premise of making a breakthrough, push ARM processor technology to advanced application, At present, 32bit ARM processor becomes the target who numerous manufacturers favor while carrying on the kernel design of the hardware. This paper carry on embedded OS' transplantation when studying, but Samsung arm7TDMI nuclear 16/32 S3C44B0X processor of Company that adopt. It is special low cost, high-performance microprocessor that developed for handheld devices or other equipment in common useLinux develop till now, because of it's opensource and free advantage brought, is chased by more and more embedded systematic manufacturers. Now, a lot of communication equipment, handheld device manufacturers utilize opensource and a series of advantages that the kernel module can be cut down ,etc. of linux, is it is it for one's own embedded software environment of products, develop linux specific to use and increase and decrease the function module on it to make to come.uClinux kept routine linux operating system most advantages again at the same time as linux after a kind of reduction kernel, operate on have ARM of MMU (memory manage unit) at the processor those specially, and has done the work of a lot of miniaturization for the embedded system.At present, the application in the micro-controll field of uClinux is very extensive. Most embedded system develop manufacturers , transplant uClinux to integrated ARM hardware of chip at the platform, to customize their own special-purpose embedded system. We should consider the modification and re-compiling of the kernel source code of uClinux when on transplanting to the hardware platform, so that uClinux can be in the normal running of the hardware platform that is selected for use. Changing the hardware platform, uClinux kernel source code needs to be revised and compiled and linked again for normal running on another hardware platform of ability. This paper .throug the whole course on transplanting uClinux to S3C44B0X board and the relevant driver's transplants and explains the general solution and procedure for embedded linux of being transplanted, and gets ready for back-end secondary development.
