With the development of economy, batching system is put into use widely in the industry of rubber, cash printing, oil ink, chemistry and food. The intelligent batching system mainly aims at the batching technique in rubber industry, realized with an adaptive fuzzy PID controller. The main content of this paper includes the whole system structure design, the mathematical modeling, the control algorithm study, hardware design, software design, and network communication.First is the general system design. Based on the principles of distributed control, centralized operation, graded management and integrated regulation, the system is distributed into management level, system control level, and device control level, which constitutes the distributed control.Secondly we conduct the mathematical modeling after the analysis on a great deal of experimental data. Based on the mathematical model we design the adaptive fuzzy PID controller, and the intelligent sampling and error pre-estimating algorithm. Compared with traditional control methods, the fuzzy reasoning technique is applied to improve both the batching precision and efficiency.Finally, we present the scheme of the three-level computer control in detail. Device level is the core of the system development. We design the intelligent batching controller based on the hardware of TOLEDO, and solve the communication problems between device level, management level, and system control level. PLC is used in system control level in order to control the general operation of system. An industrial computer is used in the management level, which implements the interfaces of different PLC, and realizes seriate batching. The function of report forms can record and administer the process data.The development and application of this system has improved the industrial efficiency, decreased the labor intensity of workers, and increased the control precision. This scheme can also be of reference to the batching control in many other fields.
