Research On The Key Technology Of The Distributed Log Server System

The debugging,inspecting and high availability is the key problem of the distributed software system. The purpose of this paper is to search for the best solve scheme to debug and inspect the distributed software by researching and discussing the time synchronization, logical clock,communications dimension analysis. The distributed log server system is an application which is based on client/server mode and synthesize all the solve schemes of hereinbefore problems. the system use exterior synchronization arithmetic to synchronize the clock of every host, then sequence the log records which come from each host computer approximately; It sequence the log records accurately which come from each host computer by using vector clock; It uses fault stop to realize high availability of application in each host computer. It uses XML technology to store data and realize the status consistency of the application. The client of the system, which runs in each host computer, inspects every node's status, collect log record, and send the log information which has been added time stamp to server. The server see to synchronize the clock of all the host computers then receive and store the log records form all the clients.
