Along with the modern industrial automation's development, the technology of survey, recognition and the control, based on the video image, developed, too. For example, the components' survey in assembly line, the printing examination of product packing, the seal examination of semiconductor chip, the localization of neutron part in electronic installation production, robot navigation, image monitoring, medicine phantom processing and so on, in these application, part of them formerly depended upon the massive workers to complete, which not only increased the artificial cost and the management cost, at the same time because the human eye was easy to be weary also to have the instability, was unable to guarantee examination qualified rate 100%. Moreover also part of the applications, because of the human eye's limitation in precision and the speed, is unable to be completed artificially and radically. Therefore, a kind of machine technology if needed urgently by the practical application to replaces the human vision.Computer technology, the mechanical and electrical project application technology and the digital image processing technology are consummating and developing ceaselessly. We combined the high velocity, the high accuracy, redundant reliable, the repeatability of computer and the human vision intellectual and abstract ability.The production and the application kind of the new technology, enormously liberated the human labor power, raised the production automation level, improved the humanity to live the present situation, has the extremely broad prospect of application.Therefore, we designed a set to carry on the exploration and the research of survey and monitor system based on the video frequency image. The real-time image of the object displays on the computer monitor by the CCD camera and the digital image processing technology.
