In the mechanical transmission, the torque is one of the most typical machinery capacity which reflects systematic function. Torque has become absolutely essential content in the developmental research of different engineering goods, the inspection of quality , the optimization of control, the monitoring of the operating mode and diagnosis of the trouble . So it has very important meanings in ensuring the operation of the whole system stability and safely to utilize suitable torque sensor and device to monitor and control the torque real-timely.In the transmission system of rotating power, most thorny problem is how to transmit voltage input of strain-gauge bridge and the output of strain-gauge signal measured between rotating part and static part reliable. The common method is to finish with the conductive ring. But the conductive ring belongs to attrition touch, so wear and tear will exist and heat will generate because of attrition, which will limit the rotational speed of the rotation axis and service life of the conductive ring. Moreover, signal fluctuation due to contact not reliable will cause the measure error to increase or even cause the measure unsuccessful. In order to overcome the defect of the conductive ring, we have devised wireless data acquisition system for torque sensor. It transmits the output signal in wireless way and has effectively solved above-mentioned problems.Characteristic of this torque sensor: (1) It can measure not only the static torque, not only the dynamic torque; (2) It has high metrical precision, good stability, and strong anti-interference ; (3) It is small, light, and easy to install and use; (4) It have not conductive ring and other abrasion element, so it may rotate for a long time in high speed; (5) It displays torque data of the digital.
