| With the rapid development of computer technology and the coming of the post-PC era, the embedded system can be found everywhere and embedded system becomes a new technical focus and orientation in IT field following the step of computer network technology. Meanwhile, plenty of the embedded applications nowadays call for better performance and functionality. The system performance of 8/16-bit microcontroller can't meet that demand. With the development of electronic and software technology, embedded system technology based on 32-bit RISC processors and RTOS are widely welcomed.The thesis lays stress on the research and application of embedded system based on ARM processor and uC/OS-â…¡ real-time operation system.After thoroughly research of the architecture of ARM processor and the steps of application using ARM, the process of designed the hardware platform with ARM core processor S3C2410 according to the requirement is analyzed in detail in the thesis. After manufacturing of PCB, welding and hardware testing, a high performance embedded system is achieved. It embodies the power of ARM.About the software platform I dissertate in general the feature of the RTOS uC/OS-II and analyze the requirement of porting it to a kind of hardware platform and what must be done with a specific processor. And then give the detail process of porting to our hardware platform. Meanwhile, the thesis also dissertate the GUI software uC/GUI using on uC/OS-â…¡, at last realize the GUI interface on uC/OS-â…¡, that greatly improve the value of it's application.The embedded system that designed in this thesis are successfully applied to high-class Intelligent Queue System, it replace the system host designed by the traditional mode, that is 8-bit processor plus PC, That obviously decrease the system cost and improve the integrality and stability of the Intelligent Queue System. |
