The Research Of Personalized Information System Based On The Network

With the development of computer and network technology, people live under the digital environment increasingly. It is difficult to access the required information from the hundred and thousand information, while, user information requirement changed a lot under the effect of the IT. Search Engineer can't meet the retrieval requirement account of the technology limits, the user are still confronted with huge information with the DL development. The PIS become the DL's main trend. As the PIS' technology plat, personalization information management plays an important role. This paper not only expatiates the user information requirement under network environment but also expatiates the meaning and the inevitability of personalization information service. Personalization information service offers us an important information environment, but it also reveals some weaknesses. So it is necessary for us to have another new information resource mechanism. Personalization information environment's appearance just accord with our requirements. This paper introduces us a personalization information system—RefWorks , which bases on network and be guided by the idea of PIE.. In addition, it analyses this system form its work- flow and function aspects. This paper also evaluates the function of RefWorks and points out its disadvantages. In the last place, the paper indicates the trend of personalization information system and the matters should be paid attention to in the course of personalization information exploitation.This dissertation is divided into seven sections.In the first section, the author analyses the traits of the information resource and the change of the information environment in the network environment. In the second section, the author analyses user in face of problem in digital environment. In the third section, the author analyses digital library's personalization information service. In the forth section, the author introduces the idea of PIE. In the fifth section, the author makes an individual research of RefWorks. In the sixth section, the author forecasts the trend of personalized information system. In the seventh section, the author makes a summary of the whole dissertation.
