The Key Business Model In A Logistic System: Designing And Realization

The business functions of DASHUN logistic system includes the second distribution parts requesting products information , the first core manufacturing enterprise part providing order and repertory management and the third logistic company part providing transporting management and charge settlement and so on . We consider these functions as the functions of a supply chain which satisfy strict dependency relation. When the second part makes an order, a series of actions will be activated. How to design a business model to make these three parts work together better thus to make the whole supply chain work efficiently is the key of the realization of this system.This article describes the key business model in DASHUN logistic system. When designing and realization, we adopt AOSE(Agent Oriented Software Engineering)paradigm, which views agents as special objects with concurrency and autonomy and supports agent based modeling by virtue of extending the OOSE paradigm . We adopted BDI model to realize autonomous agent. By adopting and extending the OOSE paradigm, we have designed and specified this system. Firstly, we divide three types of agents according to the entities, the strategies and the practical needs of the system. Secondly, we define atomic functional modules such as requesting products information, managing order, managing repertory, managing transportation and so on. According to the module's RDF description, we make the agents load atomic functional modules dynamically, thus each agent can execute different actions and fulfill different functions. Lastly, we implement a BDI infrastructure which enables to view agents as goal directed entitis that act in a rational manner . Basing on the pure Java implemented agent framework, that is JADE(Java Agent DEvelopment Framework) , We have realized this key business model. This model have goodcharacters and has been testified well in use.
