Study And Development On University Network Teaching System

The thesis takes the study of University Network Teaching System as its background, it studies on multimedia network teaching system aiming at the demand of network teaching, on the basis of deep analysis and study on the network teaching system nowadays, it constructs the application model fitting for campus intranet and provides the students a studying environment which integrates currency, network and collaboration. Nowadays, network environment of every higher school is gradually maturing, which makes the transmission of multimedia information such as audio, video, image possible. Network teaching has already had a very good network foundation. The Study and Development on University Network Teaching System is developed aiming at the character of network teaching, especially the practices and demands of Chongqing Technology and Business University. The system is a Web software system which is based on the Internet and this provides the teachers and students with network teaching and studying environment and related tools necessary for network teaching. The system conforms the characters, images, voices and video documents system that are needed by courses in the way of web, which makes users easily interact with machines through browsers. The design of the system consult the latest development and research results of domestic and international University Network Teaching System and summarize their advantages and disadvantages. Combining with the characters and demands of undergraduate course teaching of CTBU, we have the overall design and introduce its related functions as well as key technologies and their implementation. In this system, we have mainly realized the function modules such as management of teaching affairs, courseware, homework and communication and questions answering as well as auxiliary module and did the detailed research on homework disposal and system management modules, properly solve the operation of database, file transfer, the user's ID mark and using rights control as well as the Chinese problems of non-database and database. After finishing the system, we have it tested and design a suite of practical testing strategies. The system is an open teaching system, each module's relative independence makes it easy to add new function module according to request. Meanwhile the system encapsulate the ordinary function module, the development of new function can fully make use of these function modules and take them as foundation for further development, it's not necessary to design and program from the beginning, which greatly decrease the complication of programming and the definition of programs and solve the problem of security. The system doesn't depend upon particular function which provided by exterior software to transfer, this makes the system no need to modify its logic when changing the database system or JSP server and just need to change the driver of the database. The adoption of mature techniques such as Java, JSP and etc. ensure the reliability, performance, maintainability, expansion and transplanting of the system as well as adapting to the development of future techniques. It not only runs well at beginning but also can protect the current investment while expanding the software and hardware for the future and keeps its application value for a long time.
