Based on the the project named "Optical Fiber Net ResourceManagement System based on GIS"whih is one of the technology planprojects of Zhuhai ,it researchs the implementation of WebGIS systembased on Mapxtreme Java.Based on studying development ofWebGIS,it researchs architecture of Mapxtreme Java,the hiberarchy ofAPI,Web Deployment,the support of SVG,the support of GML and MapService, etc.Then it researchs the structure of distributed WebGIS.Inthe end ,it designs and implements the Optical Fiber Net ResourceManagement System(OF-NRMS)based on Mapxtreme Java.Geographical Information System (GIS) reflects various kinds ofspatial data and describes the attribute of the spatial data characteristicin the form of digitization, It supports the input and output of attributedata , storing and display of spatial data , searching of geographicalspatial information, comprehensive analysis and aid decision. WebGISis the organic integration of GIS and network, GIS component modelwhich was proposed and developed and it makes WebGIS to changefrom classical customer server calculate model to distributed calculatemodels on the basis of developing GIS component, and the share ofspatial data in various kinds of WebGIS system become the urgentproblem to be solved too. Interosculant operation model and servicemodel of spatial data processing offers the solution for WebGIS, andthe latter becomes most data processing model adopted in WebGISsystem at present.Mapxtreme Java Edition is a mapping application serverdeveloped by MapInfo Company Based on its already existinggeographical information system --Mapx, It conforms to the Java 2Enterprise Edition architecture, and it is devoted to the support to SVG,GML, Map Service, etc. Mapxtreme Java is the first set of 100% PureJava Edition to create the WebGIS application. Mapxtreme Java is anenterprise-level application development tool based on the Servletarchitecture specified in the Java 2 Enterprise Edition. It's mappingserver is disposed as Servlet. By using Servlet architecture,Mapxtreme Java can focus on satisfying mapping request, while theweb server/Servlet container handles other server-side issues such asload balancing, security, and fault to lerance. In order to adapt todifferent application, deployment options for Mapxtreme Java can becategorized into three types: thin client, medium client, and thick client.It introducts detailedly the system structure and components ofMapxtreme Java, and researchs three kinds of modes. Later analyzesthe spatial data processing model on the basis of the API hierarchicalstructure. Finally clarifies the interosculant operation model based onthe support to SVG, GML, etc.Because GIS data itself has the characteristics that dispersivestore and relatively heavy datum amount, WebGIS system is alsoinfluenced by bandwidth, so on the basis of drawing lessons from thelevel model of distributed WebGIS and combining the system structureand characteristic of Mapxtreme Java platform, it proposes three kindsof distributed frameworks: â‘ Distribution of the maping server. Themapping server of Mapxtreme Java is disposed as Servlet.So It is thedistribution of Servlet actually. â‘¡Distribution of the data with logicbusiness. It carrys on data business logic distribution by EJB which isdistributed component in J2EE. â‘¢Distributed model on the basis ofWeb Service. This distributed model is realized based on the mapservice and soap agreement and XML standard, ect.The Optical Fiber Net Resource Management System is theadministrative visual system to raise efficiency of the network, open thebusiness fastly, implement the intensive management of the wholenetwork. This system has trade characteristic: â‘ Regional:Resources are distributing with the geographical position. â‘¡spatialtopological: Nodes and wells link to each other through pipeline, thenform complicated spatial topological. â‘¢Ocular (visual ): FiberResource equipments are all three-dimensional and ocular and needthe figure, visual description.So, on the basis of researching theimplementation of WebGIS system based on Mapxtreme Java, itdesigns and implements this system according to the characteristic ofFiber Resource.The system adopts the Medium Client of Mapxtreme Java, takethe main spatial flows and dataflow as the thread, then develops thesystematic model based on J2EE: â‘ The system stores the attributedata in Oracle and spatial data in Oracle Spatical. â‘¡The systemimplements the Regional and spatial characteristic of Fiber Resourcethrough Mapxtreme Java. â‘¢The system implements the Clientthrough Applet , JSP and JavaScript ; Adopts self-defining Servlet tofinish the request and the response; Adopts MapxtremeServlet torealize the business datum logic of map, JavaBean and EJB to realizethe business datum logic. And then integrate spatial information andattribute information, show information in a visual way, realizeresources of the optical cable and keep, manage, maintain automation,...
