The Research Of It-Based Personal Knowledge Management

Nowadays, the rapid development of the calculating ability and the explosive increasing of knowledge are two main trends. It is an inevitable choice to enforce the knowledge management for each person. The personal knowledge management has become a new research field and it has made some achievements. First, those achievements appeared in some net pages and there are only several papers of discussing nature. So that it cannot escape the shortcoming that they are not systematizing. Second, most PKM software stresses the collection of data and the content management. However, they are quite different between storing data and converting them into the collectors' knowledge. The cost of time in the knowledge management activity is a very crucial consumption of resources, but it has not been completely researched. Last, how to see the PKM is also very important. The idea that only through a set of software can realize the PKM is not practical. In addition, the idea that seeing the PKM purely as a problem that can only be solved by human intelligent will make people ignore the possibility of the great contribution, which the information technology will make to the PKM. The correct idea should be that considering this problem from the point of rational intelligent system, and taking the involved people and things in the PKM activity as a dynamic system and the function that the information technology has will increase with the process of systematizing. The research in this field is blank in documents.This paper aiming at the above shortcomings in the research of the personal knowledge management mainly studies these following issues: (1) classifying and comparing the current PKM skills and tools; (2) putting forward the rational intelligent angle of seeing the PKM; (3) systematically putting forward the complete process of the PKM, that is, basic assumption, strategic analysis, plan appointment, actualization and control; (4) developing and realizing the antitypes of PKMIS; (5) discussing how to make use of the knowledge management to improve the teaching effect of the high education because a good knowledge management in high education will be sure to promote the development of the PKM; (6) putting forward the KP chain service and the framework of the software to improve the social environment of the PKM by the applications of information technology.
