With the improvement of the living standard, people more and more concern cosmetology and nursing care of man face skin .Therefore analysis measurement and recognition of skin texture become a significant research task. The traditional measurement based on observing of eye does not conform to the demand of people. But we know if we will get more relatively exact measurement and recognition about texture line of skin image, segmentation and extrication texture line of skin image must more accurate. So the dissertation's key is focused on extrication texture line of skin image. For the need of skin feature parameter measurement ,starting from the characters of skin image ,the dissertation figures out a way ,which makes texture detection firstly, and then takes feature parameter statistics .The texture detection involves several steps : image gathering ,image pre-processing ,image segmentation ,texture centerline detecting and parameter definition, and every step is important to measuring precision .The dissertation also gives some problems and approaches in the project .Finally, filter transformation based on visual characters and texture detection based on mathematical morphology is settled down. The dissertation reviews some related methods on edge detection and image segmentation, and then analyses the shortcoming of using above methods about extrication texture line of skin image of segmenting the skin image. Aiming at special characteristic of the skin image, the method of the combination Gaussian filter with Wiener filter is put forward in the dissertation. It is more effective in reducing yawp of skin image and building up texture line of skin image using the above combined filter. The dissertation also states the basic theories of the key morphological concepts: Reconstruction filter and Watershed transform, and their applications in Tophat transform, Bothat Transform, filter and Segmentation.
