With the fast development of science and technology, the digital course of broadcasting television is advancing more and more rapidly. Furthermore, with the adoption of MPEG-2 as image compression standard, and the establishment of DVB as a recommended international standard, the application course of digital video broadcasting is accelerated dramatically. Meanwhile, the television broadcasting is in the interim of analog to digital system along with the development of CATV network, which makes the special transmission nets carry out an enormous transform and innovation, including new thoughts, new ideas and new technology on program playing , signal transmission, and so on. As one of the most important equipments in the front-end, stream's transmit-receive equipment has already being the hotspot in the research and development domain. According to the elaborate presentation of USB Interface Technology, correlative theory, DVB and MPEG-2 standard, and the latest USB2.0 interface Technology, this paper confirms a realization scheme of DVB stream's transmit-receive system. Firstly, the paper makes a general introduction of the main technology and correlative standards which are used in the system, including USB Interface criterions, WDM Driver Development Model, CPLD Application Development Technology and DVB stream analysis methods. Then the paper divides the system to hardware and software parts, it analyses and presents them separately, lays a strong emphasis on explaining how the data streams can be stored in PC harddisk by being transmited from bottom hardware and how to realize the bi-directional data transmission. Therefore, in the hardware design module, the paper adopts Slave FIFO mode which is the most suitable for continuous and high-speed data transfer and uses FIFO to buffer the data streams; in the software design module, the paper also mainly illuminates how the date streams Interface provides services for upper layers, sends services requirement to lower layers. Finally, the paper shows the testing procedure and gives out the testing results, summarizes problems and difficulties which came across in the research., in order to increase experiences for later correlative research. The paper points out the disadvantages as well as the improvement of the system in the tag part. The emphases of this research are on using the USB Interface Chip as kernel for hardware design, based on the deep comprehension of USB Bus Criterions, and the difficulty of the circuit design is how to finish each logical modules'data sheet and logical control. Also the paper makes a full presentation for how to analyse the received data stream, it provides the foundation for consisting of a integrate stream transmission and analysis system. Theoretically and technically, the implementation of the scheme proposes in this paper will ultimately offer a new realizing means for the receiving and transmitting of DVB transport stream. In practice, it will supply a DVB stream transmit-receive system solution which has high price performance ratio.
