B/S development structure is getting more and more attention by programmers. However, in the software development process, especially when customer request changes over time and the core coding need to be revised to reflect those changes, people are having many difficulties of software development cost stretch, development cycle extention etc. The problem appears because of some shortcomings associated with the development methods, which cannot solve the separation among the presentation level, business logic level and data level. This article is written to study those problems come with current B/S development mode, compare different measures and propose a feasible development framework that is suitable for some large scale B/S development.Below supports the author's point of view.1. Commonly seen problems of Model1 development method are listed and analyzed. Discuss the situation of B/S development. Then the normally used three approaches are listed and described.2. The theory of MVC model which the framework based on is detailedly discussed in the second part of the article. The two JSP models (Model 1 and Model2) are introduced and compared in this part.3. Introduce the implementation of Struts + EJB framework in two pieces: Struts framework and EJB component.4. The Struts + EJB framework is described in part four. The design principle, the detailed framework of Struts + EJB. The structure of the framework is extensively studied as well as the workflow and application flow of the whole framework.5. Then apply the framework in a case--CRM system. Whole system design is discussed with a detailed coding case of the customer management module based on the Struts + EJB framework. In the end, the application of the system is summarized.6. The writer summarized the jobs done during the thesis construction and point out some still existing issues with the framework, how this framework can be used and what the future direction of the framework will be in.
