Research On The Base Station Access Solution Of PHS System

Based on the actually engineering applications, the problems occurred in the process of the PHS system business development and promotion are analyzed, and how to realize the long distance base station access by lower cost in order to optimize network structure and extend the coverage scope is researched in this paper. A plan of using the PHS base station access multiplexer to'solve this practical problem is brought out, and its principle, implementation details and field test results are illustrated in detail. The main work and results are as follows:(1) The developing process, the business advantage and the developing prospect of the PHS system are illustrated.(2) The key PHS technologies including air wireless interface, modulation and demodulation, multiplexing, ISDN U interface and V5 interface are discussed.(3) The problems and reasons occurred in PHS engineering application are analyzed, and the their solution is put forward.(4) The design fundament and implementation details of the PHS base station access multiplexer are demonstrated in detail.(5) The field test results of the PHS base station access multiplexer are presented.The field test results have shown that PHS base station access multiplexer can solve the problems mentioned above. It enables the PHS business operators to provide service for dispersive customers in the suburb and the rural areas far from city with the lower investment. On the other side, it also enables the manufacturers to provide more favorable new products and gain more profit. So the aim of this project is reached.
