Research And Design Of School Education Information System Based On B/S Model And JSP Technology In GuangXi

Nowadays, Internet achieves a more significant influence than anything else on human activities, and the development of Web technique brings a great convenience to people's information exchanges and shares. This paper is based on the project of Guangxi-School-Education (GSE)which is jointly developed by the Electronic Technique Research Institute of Guangxi Normal University and Guangxi Guangtai Computer Company. The GSE information system, with the cooperation of a third party, is a platform with multiple functions and applications of telephone, mobile-phone, information-consulting machine and internet, and functions as an intercommunication bridge linking parents and children, teachers and students, homes and schools, and GSE's management center and the educational departments concerned. The GSE information system is mainly designed for the primary and secondary school education of Guangxi, in which C/S and B/S systems are combined because of a large scale. C/S (with a relative fewer users) includes a central system and a system for schools, the functions of which are mainly to achieve a management of users, and of schools and teachers (excluding parents and students). The writer of this paper is mainly responsible for the development of B/S system, so the paper mainly discusses this system. GSE information system based on B/S model applies popular JSP technique of the opening system of SUNONE and provides a reliable Java platform to connect Web service resource and the users'Web browsers. With the combination of Java class libary and HTTP protcol supported by JSP/Servlet system, and of database connecting pool technique and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 data management system, we achieves information system based on B/S system structure and JSP dynamic web technique. In short, this paper, based on B/S model, discusses in details B/S structure, JSP/Servlet technique, the requirement, the design, and the realization function model in GSE information system. In addition, in order to improve the visiting efficiency of this system and lighten the load of Web server and DBMS, this paper also has a detailed discussion on the techniques of developed and applied database connecting pool, the management of the users'right, SSL, MVC design model, and JSP pagination. At last, this paper summarizes the characteristics of GSE information system.
