Blind equalization technology is a newly developed adaptive equalization technology. This technology can make the system output approach the input signal, only utilizes the statistical character information of input signals without training sequence. It is one of the key technologies in the digital communication at present, and it is also an important advanced subject hotly researched in the disciplines of communication engineering, signal and information processing. It has been used in the fields of communication , radar , sonar , control engineering , seismic prospecting, biomedicine etc. So it has great theoretical meaning and practical value to study on this subject.Cepstrum blind equalizer can get the channel parameters directly from the cepstrum of the receiving sequence (the input sequence of the blind equalizer), for the receiving sequencecepstrum includes the amplitude characteristic and phase characteristic of the transmission channel. The key step of this technology is to establish the relation fimction of the cepstrum and channel parameters, and then yields the channel parameters by the way of solving the function. This method not only can guarantee the global convergence property but also can constitute different kinds of equalizer easily.This paper analyses the principle of the cepstrum blind equalizer, and deduces the transmission function based on the bi-cepstrum and quard-cepstrum after the introduction of the blind equalization principle and the development. This equalizer can be realized by combination of maximum phase filter and minimum phase filter or the phase filters.. It is flexible to realize the equalizer.
