| Aimed at JinShao hydropower station, this paper presents the design of hydropower unit's computer supervisory control system. Being the top main unit of computer supervisory control system,the property of supervisory control unit of hydropower station unit affects the whole computer supervisory control system. Combined with the feature of hydropower station, the structure of computer supervisory control system and the technique of PLC and LCU are given in the paper. The paper also presents the design and the development of computer supervisory control system of JinShao hydropower station , including the structure design, hardware and software design, system communication, etc. The computer supervisory control system of JinShao adopts open system and distributive structure, which is composed of main control unit and LCU. PLC is the nucleus of LCU, and 100M ethernet is used to connect LCU with main control unit. Modsoft is used by PLC. And Intouch is used as supervisory control platform in the system. The system is chosen the layering distributing type computer supervising system structure model . According to power station control hierarchy and object , computer ( lower machine ) and control unit are at present supervised to level computer ( superordinate machine ) in installation power station at present .
