| Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of Chang Yan Kang Decoction(Chang Yan Kang, CYK)in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(ulcerative colitis,UC),To observe the expression effect of Chang Yan Kang on interleukin-2(IL-2)and interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)in the intestinal mucosa.Material and method:According to the result of symptoms, colonoscopy and biopsy colonic mucosal pathological examination detection the definite diagnosis of ulcerative colitis of 60 patients in active stage and light, moderate patients, using a randomized, blinded, controlled research methods. The included patients were randomly divided into two groups, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with CYK treatment, control group was treated with Mesalazine SR Granules(MS)treatment, treatment for 8 weeks. Before and after the treatment, the patients of the two groups whoes frequency of defecation, pus and blood stool, the performance of the colonic mucosa under colonoscope, the physician’s wholel assessment and so on, next, all of the above integral which will be calculated and within the group and between groups compared. Using a random number table method from the treatment group in a random sample of 10 patients. Immunohistochemical method to detect changes to the pathological changes in intestinal mucosa of IL-2, IL-6, TNF-α expression before and after the treatment, and self-control. For statistical analysis. Results: 1.Compared with MS control group, the total effective rate of the CYK treatment group was higher the control group, but there was no significant difference between the CYK treatment group and the MS control group(P > 0.05); 2.The expression level of IL-2, IL-6 and TNF-α in intestinal mucosa which have statistically significant, before and after CYK treatment(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.CYK is effective in treating UC, similar to the effect of MS, and CYK is safe and effective, worthy of clinical application; 2.CYK treatment mechanism of UC which it may be associated with IL-2, IL-6 and TNF-α expression level in intestinal mucosa tissues decreased the relevant. |
