This paper discusses component factors of bamboo flute’s timbre andtimbre classification of bamboo flute Qu and bamboo flute Bang in the conventionalsense as well as its reflection in aesthetics, makes comparisons on timbre amongdifferent musical composition and elaborates applications of timbre in bamboo flutemusic so as to give an overall statement on timbre expression features of bambooflute.
