The "Adolescents Emotion Understanding Questionnaire in ConflictSituations" met the psychometric standard, and could be used as a tool to investigate or assess the ability of emotion understanding in conlfict situations for high schoolstudents.2.There were flaws of emotion understanding development for middle schoolstudents with problems in conflict situations as follow: low level of emotion reasonunderstanding, hidden emotion understanding, emotion change understanding, emotion rule performance understanding, and comprehension strategies of emotion.3.No correlation between the inner and outer dimensions and high schoolstudents with problems in conflict situations in emotion understanding, theneuroticism dimension had negative prediction.4.Family environments were important for middle school students withproblems in emotion understanding, among which the intimacy between familymembers and the emotional expression had a positive prediction, while thecontradictory nature of the family had a negative prediction.5.The existence of effective regulation of emotion understanding whenproblems faced by students in secondary role in conflict situations, the higheremotional understanding, individuals could better regulate their emotions.
