Interpersonal perception has been studied for how individual perceivers select,interpret, and integrate information about other people. Interpersonal perceptionhappens between interpersonal relationships, and impacts the quality of varies aspectsof life. Recent years, social psychologists have studied different levels ofinterpersonal perception and people’s reactions to threats to social acceptance andbelonging as they occur in the context of interpersonal rejection. For theundergraduates, the social interaction impacts them increasingly which leads them toput their energy on the social life more than before. However, as students, theprincipal activities of them are learning in school. Accordingly, it is necessary todiscuss how the interpersonal perception impacts the emotion and the cognitivefunction of the undergraduates.The present research investigated the emotion of the undergraduates by usingMulti-parameter Bio-feedback Machine following with facing to different levels ofperson perception as interpersonal acception, interpersonal betrayal, and altruisticpunishment atfer interpersonal betrayal, which is followed by the impaction of thecognitive function of the undergraduates.The ifrst study was to reveal the change of emotion and the characteristic ofelectrophysiological by using questionnaire and Multi-parameter Bio-feedbackMachine. The results showed that the intense positive emotion was produced when theundergraduates faced to interpersonal acception, while the intense negative emotioncome into being when the undergraduates faced to interpersonal betrayal. For theundergraduates who did altruistic punishment atfer interpersonal betrayal, the emotionwas less intense than the ones of the other groups for both positive and negativeemotion. The characteristic of electrophysiological consistent with the resultmeasured by the questionnaire.In the second experiment explored how person perception impact the cognitivefunction of the undergraduates. The results showed the performance of workingmemory of group of interpersonal betrayal was worse than the other groups in the low-difficulty task, while the one of interpersonal acception was better than the othergroups in both middle-dififculty and hard-difficulty tasks. The scope of attention ofthe group of interpersonal betrayal was worse than the other groups.
