Qi culture is a famous archaeological culture distributed in Haidai region in the Western andEastern Zhou Dynasty. Qi noble graves as an important part of Qi culture, it holds an importantplace in study of Qi culture.Based on literature and predecessors’ research, through the study of the data of Qi noblegraves in the Western and Eastern Zhou Dynasty,combined with the new published data of Qinoble graves, this paper summarized the characteristics of Qi noble graves in the Western ZhouDynasty and the Spring and Autumn Period、the Warring States Period and discussed thedevelopment and change of the burial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves in the twoperiods. The burial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves had not yet formed its owncharacteristics, the influention of the Dongyi cluture、the Shang culture and the Zhou culturemore directly in the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Spring and Autumn Period. The burialregulation and customs of Qi noble graves from their own characteristics on the basis of theDongyi cluture、the Shang culture、the Zhou culture and other archaeological culture in theWarring States Period. And through the burial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves withthe similarities and differences of the burial regulation and customs of the Dongyi culture、theShang culture、the Zhou culture and other archaeological culture to explore the source of theburial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves.This paper is divided into6parts as follows:Chapter1:Introduction. Through archaeological discoveries of the Qi graves, defined theprinciple of Qi noble graves, this is the basis of this paper. Find the problems existing in theresearch of the burial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves through the introduction to theresearch status of that,and present the innovation and research methods of this paper.Chapter2: Overview of the cemeteries and graves of Qi noble.This part briefly describe theQi noble graves in the the Western and Eastern Zhou Dynasty that have bend discovered andpublished. In this paper, the Qi noble graves in the Western and Eastern Zhou Dynasty can bedivided into two stages—the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Spring and Autumn Period、theWarring States Period, this corresponding to Jiang Qi and Tian Qi.Chapter3:The burial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves in the Western ZhouDynasty and the Spring and Autumn Period.Through the summary and analysis of theinformation of the Qi noble graves in the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Spring and AutumnPeriod, summed up the characteristics of the burial regulation and customs of Qi noble gravesduring this period.Chapter4:The burial regulation and customs of Qi noble graves in the Warring States Period.Through the summary and analysis of the information of the Qi noble graves in theWarring States Period, summed up the characteristics of the burial regulation and customs of Qinoble graves during this period.Chapter5:The origin and development of the burial regulation and customs of Qi noblegraves. This section through the study on the characteristics of the burial regulation and customsof Qi noble graves to explore the origin and development of that.Chapter6:Conclusion. A brief summary of the paper with my own thinking.
