It’s not a rare phenomenon that everyone has a camera now days.Doesthis phenomenon have an impact on photograph&film making industry?Orin a broader sense,does it change the world around us?To make a point aboutabout these questions,this dissertation aims to discuss differentelements relate to them.The discussion of”people are camera－holdingindividuals”will not be apart from people perse,whose movement anddevelopment is a core when starting to expand the thinking.My originalidea is inspired by Béla Balázs,a famous Hungarian film theorist,who wrotea book called《visiable people-the spirit of film》.This dissertation aimsto explain”people are camera holding individuals”by putting my fingerson the connection particular domains,such as the revolution ofcontemporary photography,the twist of modern communication,and thedevelopment of modern&contemporary art.The fundamental conception inthis dissertation is to look at documentary as an innate character ofphotography.Trying to explore visual media along with the development ofthe contemporary society, it brings the audience a kind of specialsituation meet feeling, this private encounters feelings, are peculiarto the image after more than one hundred years history of attribute, andit with documentary, coexistence of the image.
