This paper focuses on the "textual research" to explore the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America from multiple perspectives. The full text consists of preface, main text, concluding remarks and references. The preface mainly introduces the domestic and foreign research situation of the Declaration of Independence. The main text includes four parts. The first section makes a brief overview of the revolutionary situation which accelerated the birth of the Declaration. As an official call to arms of combat, the Declaration justifies the legitimacy of the revolution and pushes its development forward. Containing logical structure, political thought and the charges towards the King, the second section centers around the text of the Declaration, elaborates that the Declaration is of clear logic and shows to the world that Jefferson had a broad and profound political thought and unique political considerations. The third section touches the deep core of the accused text indictment, that is the charges against the king, draws that the reason the drafter attacked the King was out of the political propaganda purposes, using a rhetorical strategy. The fourth section takes "Truths and Self-evident" and "Necessary and Prudence" as the breakthrough to analyses the functions which play in the text and interprets the Declaration of Independence as a National declaration of strong flexibility.Whether the use of words, the language logic, the accused clauses, or the political principles contained in the Declaration of independence, its ultimate purpose is to make a justification of the independence, which is the key to understand this fundamental document.
