| Based on the theory of three-dimensional grammar and Construction Grammar, this article makes a comprehensive description and analysis of the syntactic and semantic characteristics of the "verb attached Ge followed by a predicate phrases" construction. Meanwhile, this dissertation investigate the source and the realization methods of the meaning in this construction. We also study the structure in pragmatic position. The whole dissertation includes six chapters, the main contents of the chapters are as follows:The first part defines the meaning and range of the "V+Ge+Vp" construction. Elaborate the background, the source corpus and the significance of the study.The second part introduces the current research situation and the evaluation of this construction,point out the achievements and shortcomings of predecessors.The third chapter describe the syntactic semantic features of the "V+Ge+Vp" construction,to discuss the classification of each part in the structure. Moreover,it analyzes the semantic relationship between verb and the complement.The forth chapter examines the meaning in the construction and the realization methods of the meaning.According to the article,the context and the people’s cognitive promoted the enlargement in the scope of this structure.The fifth chapter demonstrates the pragmatic environment and the unique pragmatic value of this structure in modern Mandarin.The last chapter I summarize the dissertation and present some problem needed to research and explore in the future. |
