There are104participants including33with Chinese and mathematics learningdisabilities,22with Chinese learning disabilities,17with mathematics learningdisabilities and32as the controlling team in this research. The aim is to studyupdating capability on the visuo-spatial working memory of the children with learningdisabilities in different conditions by designing three experiments: Experiment1is tostudy whether there are the differences among the groups of children with differentlearning capabilities of updating capability on the visuo-spatial working memory;Experiment2is to study whether there are the differences in different centralexecutive load among the groups of children with different learning capabilities ofupdating capability on the visuo-spatial working memory; Experiment3is to studythe difference between conditions with and without among the groups of childrenwith different learning capabilities of updating capability on the visuo-spatial workingmemory. The results:(1) Updating capability on the visuo-spatial working memory of children withlearning disabilities is worse than those without. Compared to different groups withlearning disabilities, updating capability on the visuo-spatial working memory ofchildren with Chinese and mathematics learning disabilities is worst, and that ofchildren with Chinese and mathematics learning disabilities is worse.(2) In different central executive load, performances in updating task on thevisuo-spatial working memory of children in control group are different, that is to say,the experimental conditions is effective; but performances of children with Chineseand mathematics learning disabilities, those with Chinese learning disabilities andthose with mathematics learning disabilities are same, so the central exertive systemof three kinds of children with learning disabilities are deficiency.(3)In conditions with space-beat task and without, performances in updating taskon the visual-spatial working memory of children in control group are different, that isto say, the experimental conditions is effective; that of children with Chinese learningdisabilities are different, so their visuo-spatial sketchpad are not deficiency; that ofchildren with Chinese and mathematics learning disabilities and with mathematics learning disabilities are same, so their visuo-spatial sketchpad are deficiency.
