| The creation of dances for children is different from that for adults, due to the unique physical and psychological characteristics of children. The role of dances for children is not only to win the dance contest and improve personal dance skills, but also to actively promote the education of social community as a whole. Currently, the creation of dances for children is still in the immature stage. Therefore, as a primary school dance teacher, I attempt to combine my own job requirements and learning content in order to make a contribution to better study the creation of dances for children. The research objective of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of the creation of dances for children. Taking my personal teaching portfolio named《Jingwei chuanchuanhong》as a study case, I get a deep insight into the characteristic of the creation of dances for children by mainly discussing “children’s cognitive ability”, “children’s illusion” and “children’s interest”. |
