A Study Of Narrative Ethics In Tie Ning 's Novels

Tie Ning is a distinctive writer in contemporary literature history, her literary creation began from 70’s, and her special personal experience and rich culture knowledge affect her attitude toward life. These are reflected in her literary works, and related with narrative ethics. Narrative ethics is a kind of perception of individual life. Throughout Tie Ning’s works, the fate of the characters is up and down with the history and gain new life tension. Different from most studies which focus on text, this paper aims to explore the spiritual source of Tie Ning’s novels narrative ethics, analysis of multiple ethical relations in the text, the formation and development of narrative ethics in Tie Ning’s novels, and finally discusse the special characteristics of narrative ethics in Tie Ning’s novels.The introduction mainly clear the meaning of narrative ethics, based on some researches, this paper clarifies the contemporary situation analysis of Tie Ning’s novels and points out the significance and research method of this paper.Text is divided into four parts:The first part explains narrative ethics source of Tie Ning’s novels, which depict traditional ethical culture, "good" has become an unchanged starting point for her creation, it is more important for the contemplation of life existence, although the life is full of various ethical dilemmas, we have to face it with detached attitude; The second part concretely discusses several ethical relationship of Tie Ning novels from three aspects, including family, soci and history, deeply analyze the development of these ethical relationship in novels, and the spiritual pursuit contained under narrative ethics. The third part analyze narrative ethics embodied in the text, mainly discusses from individual narrative ethic. Tie Ning’s individual narrative ethic construction is a process, individual narrative ethic gradually formed in the process of creation, then the individual narrative ethic changed, "Rose Door" is an example, which shows the existence of the state of individual narrative ethic, Tie Ning has constructed a new ethics form after constantly exploration, the representative novel is "the Bathing Woman", this is the spiritual self-salvation. Now, she creates a "Utopia" world. Finally, the individual narrative ethic and the revolutionary narrative ethics form a harmonious relationship; individual ethical significance obtains the supplement and development, mainly reflected in "Ben Hua". The fourth part interpret the unique narrative ethics in Tie Ning’s novels, individual life spread from lonely perspective which shows compassion and contained in the body language to tell the ethical feelings. In short, the final meanings of narrative ethics of Tie Ning’s novels care about life, existence and appeal.
