A Study On Translation Evaluation Of Non - Literary Translation From The Perspective Of Functionalism

As an irreplaceable role of communication, non-literary translation is a bridge to help governments, enterprises and non-governmental organizations from different countries contact each other. However, the research conditions of non-literary translation is far from what we expected, especially the research work of the translation evaluation of non-literary translation. The good translation needs good translation evaluation. Therefore it is very necessary for the research work of the translation evaluation of non-literary translation. From the perspective of text, this research summarizes the nature of non-literary translation compared with that of literary texts and non-literary texts. I want to build the translation evaluation model of non-literary translation which includes science and technology style and advertisement style based on the theory of functionalism, combining with the research condition of translation evaluation both home and abroad. At last, the final research products of the translation evaluation of non-literary translation is the translation evaluation of the example’s analysis about science and technology essay and advertisement essay.
