With the development of computer and Internet technology, the Internet has had a thorough effect on people’s every day life in all fields. The Internet has brought a brand new era- the era of new media. The Rapid development of new media in China has provided technological support and motivation for the expansion of ethnic minority’s written language Internet communication. In recent years, new media communication of ethnic minorities’has seen certain results, especially Mongolian language based website, smart phone apps, and mini blogs have been surging among the new media.This paper utilizes theories from Mass Communication, Journalism, and Social Sciences to fully cover and thoroughly discuss the communication and expansion of Mongolian new media; to discover new ways to better spread and expand the business in a more scientific, more professional manner. This paper consists of four chapters. Thesis statement mainly describes the meaning of this topic as well as the methods for research. The first chapter introduces concepts concerning the topic of new media, and an organized description of current situation of Mongolian new media communication as well as its future. The second chapter uses [Mongolian Online News of China] as an example, analyzes the method, specialties, and customer interaction for spreading and expanding Mongolian websites. The third chapter focuses on the problems that have existed when building Mongolian new media through analyzing how Mongolian social networking website [HOLVOO] works. The fourth chapter provides problems and solutions when dealing with Mongolian apps through analyzing mobile music app [EHSHIG]. In the conclusion, it analyzes Mongolian new media’s effects on different fields such as politics, economy, education, and culture from a scientific discovering view. It also addresses the important meaning of researching how to better spread the business of Mongolian new media, the digitalized age of ethnic Mongolian culture, and deeply expanding ethnic Mongolian culture in a global and information technology era.
