Preschool teachers’ belief mainly include teachers thoughts, congnition and attitude about teaching, environment, childrens’ development and behavior. in this study, the preschool teachers’ belief is all thoughts about childrens’ social withdraw behavior. which in explained by three dimensions: the response to behavior, feelings, congition and evaluation. Teachers’ beliefs on childrens’ behavior influence teachers’ attitude and behavior, and teachers’ beliefs, attitude and behavior is the important factor on childrens’ development. The research object on beliefs of childrens’ social withdraw behavior is parents, and turn to teachers. but most of study is based on west culture. In china, we mainly focus on teachers’ education concept, children concept. In this study, we discuss teachers’ beliefs on different social withdraw behavior of children.Research method includes two parts. The one is used the teacher’s belief questionnaire which is designed by Coplan(2006). There’re three dimensions: the response to behavior, feelings, cognition and evaluation. We discuss if teachers’ belief will be influenced by children’s gender, teachers’ age, teaching age, and area. The other method is based on the first one. and using structured interview is to investigate if teachers can distinguish different social withdraw behavior, and the explanation on the reason they have different beliefs on boys and girls, and evaluation of two behavior, and resolution strategies.The results of this study are as follows:Preschool teacher could distinguish children’s social withdraw behavior; there’re difference in preschool teachers’ belief on children social withdraw behavior. teacher have more positive beliefs on quiet behavior, including behavior, feelings, cognition and evaluation on academic achievement.There are many influences on teachers’ belief of different social withdraw behavior, including child gender, teachers’ age, teaching age, and area. Because of child gender, there are differences on teachers’ response and feelings of children’s different social withdraw behavior. Influenced by teachers’ teaching age and teachers’ age, there are differences on three dimensions of teachers’ belief. Because of area, teachers have different belief on evaluation of different social withdraw behavior.
