A Study On The Changes Of Dinglong Dance From The Perspective Of Cultural Anthropology

Dragon Dance is an outstanding folk sport in our country. During recent years, folk sports have become more and more popular among the country, and people have paid more and more attention to folk sports. With the support of government, traditional dragon dance achieved a modern transformation and released new vitality in many areas, making critical contribution to local economic and cultural industry. Dinghuo dragon dance is one of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province. Due to Its combination with modern dragon dance in very earlier years, Dinghuo dragon dance has achieved considerable developments. But it is in anomie at present. It is necessary to carry out this research, and to explore the way of traditional dragon dance in modernization.In this research, the object is Dinghuo dragon dance. By using field Investigation, questionnaire survey, literature material method, etc, analyze the transformation process and patterns of Dinghuo dragon dance from the perspective of cultural anthropology, I draw conclusion that it has experienced five stages since the time Dinghuo dragon dance appeared. They are unrestrained developing period, suspended developing period, resume developing period, governmental leading period and anomie adjusting period. And there are four characteristics in this changing course, ebb and flow in development, critical individual playing a key role, utility enhanced, superstition weakened and gradually went into the state of anomie during the period of government playing leading role. In my analysis, I propose that economic development, governmental management, people’s cultural requirements and the introduction of modern dragon dance is the dynamics in the transformation of Dinghuo dragon dance.According to the changing course of Dinghuo dragon dance, I summarized that there are four patterns in the course. They are mode of social production determines the direction Dinghuo dragon dance changes, the pace in different levels are not synchronous, the rule of Ding dance of dragon changed is from deconstruction to reconstruction and acculturation to integrate.
