The Practice Report On The Simulated Interpretation Of The 9th China - Korea Local Government Exchange Seminar

In recent years, with frequent exchanges in political, economic, cultural and educational area between China and South Korea, tens of thousands of various kindsof conferences by the government or private leading have taken turns to convene in the two countries every year. Because of the differences between Chinese and Korean in vocabularies, word order,word formation, culture and background,there will be obstacles in communication, therefore interpreting talents who are masters of the language of China and South Korea, well versed in the culture andbackground of two countries, and can be trusted with major responsibilities in International Conferences are in urgent need. This report is based on the author’s personal experience of attending the conference interpreting for the9th session of the China and South Korea local government exchange Seminar, and presentedbyway of interpreting practice report.This paper includes the following four parts: the1stchapter describe the interpreting task, including task background, requirements and features; the2ndchapter describe the process of interpreting, including the preparation before task, the interpreting process and the review after interpreting; the3rdchapter by analyzingthe case, and put forward the countermeasure of solving the problem; the4thchapter summarize the interpreting practice and the inspiration and prospects for the future.
